Anjarakandy Farmers service Co-Operative Bank was first registered as a Credit Co-op society in 1914. The society was involved in eradicating poverty and enabling weaker sections of Anjarakandi in Kannur district.
Under Anjarakandy Bank, there are various sections like Coconut processing complex, Medical Unit, Public Distribution System, Neethi Store, Home appliances showroom, Textile showroom, Fertilize depot, Cement Depot, Gas Distribution Network etc which provides jobs to the weaker section and in mean time ensure the quality products to the native people.

- The brand name of the coconut oil is 'SAHAKARI AGMARK'.
- The coconut oil production unit was started in 14th of November 2002.
- As of now 20 plus female and 10 plus male agricultural village workers are employed under this section.
- As of now there were many awards received for the quality of Coconut oil.
- The coconut oil is exported to middle east and other part of India due to its quality and demand.
