Kannur Corporation

Kannur Corporation: 

Kannur(Cannanore-british name) has all the criteria to get the corporation tag. Kerala Govt has already submitted the approval letter to central govt of India. Hope we will hear the news soon.

Kannur international Airport:
The airport work is in full swing at moorkhan parambu, mattannur (around 20 plus kilometers from city).
The airport will be operated from 2017 as per the current updates from govt.

Kannur Monorail
Studies are going on by the DMRC team to check the feasibility of starting monorail services in city. This will help citizens to enjoy traffic less travel across city.

Kannur Tourism:
Kannur has many tourist destinations like muzhappilangad drive in beach, payyambalam beach, snakepark, ezhimala, Kannur fort, Telichery Fort, many temples, mosques churches etc.
